Simple Winter Salsa Recipe


1 pear

1 avocado

1 pomegranate

1 jalapeño

1/2 red onion

1 lime

1 handful fresh cilantro

Salt & pepper


Core and cube up the pear, dice the red onion, avocado and jalapeño, and chop the cilantro.

De-seed the pomegranate (tip: smack the outside with a wooden spoon first, put the seeds in a bowl and pour water over them – all the little white pieces will float to the top).

Toss all the ingredients together in a large bowl and squeeze the lime over. Toss again until combined and add salt and pepper to taste.

Perfect for a holiday appetizer, or served over chicken or salmon for the main event. Maybe tacos? Christmas tacos!
